WARRANTY POLICY

At Vancocohome, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We use premium materials—like solid brass and high-grade stainless steel—to ensure our fixtures withstand the test of time.

Below is our comprehensive warranty coverage for customers in the United States and the United Kingdom.

1. Warranty Coverage Overview

We offer tiered warranty protection based on the product component. This ensures you are covered where it matters most.

Cartridges & Valves 5 YEARS Covers ceramic disc cartridges, thermostatic valves, and diverters against leaks, drips, and stiff operation.
Finishes (PVD/Chrome) 3 YEARS Covers the surface finish against blistering, peeling, or excessive fading under normal use.
Electronic Components 2 YEARS  Covers motors, sensors, heating elements, and circuit boards found in Smart Toilets and Actuators.
Hoses & Consumables 1 YEAR Covers flexible hoses, O-rings, seals, filter cartridges, and plastic handheld showerheads.

2. What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing Defects: Any defect in material or workmanship that causes the product to fail during normal residential use.

  • Leaks & Drips: Failure of the internal ceramic cartridge or valve mechanism resulting in leakage.

  • Structural Integrity: Any cracking or breaking of the main brass/metal body.

3. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Minor scratches, scuffs, or natural patina development on living finishes (e.g., Unlacquered Brass).

  • Improper Installation: Damage caused by failure to follow Vancocohome’s installation instructions or by using non-standard plumbing connections.

  • Hard Water Damage: Blockages or damage caused by limescale buildup (we recommend installing a water softener in hard water areas).

  • Harsh Chemicals: Damage to the finish caused by the use of abrasive cleaners, bleach, or acidic detergents.

  • Labor Costs: Vancocohome covers the cost of replacement parts only. We do not cover plumber fees or labor costs for removal/installation.

4. For Our UK Customers (Legal Rights)

In addition to the Vancocohome Manufacturer Warranty above, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You are entitled to a repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of satisfactory quality or are not fit for purpose. This manufacturer warranty is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights.
